“In winter all is hidden. Winter is the season of retirement into depth, because of the cold outside. At this time you must not disturb or disperse the yang energy so that you can allow the yin reserves to be reestablished within you.”
“Spring is sooner recognized by plants than humans.”
This sweet immersion welcomes the spring with a focus on gratitude for the gifts behind us and ahead of us. We intentionally dedicate our practice to the celebration of our paths and the reawakening of our yang energy to fearlessly march along them.
At this moment of transition between the inwardness of winter and the blossoming of spring, we honor where we have wandered and envision where we will journey next. We will walk the beach, meditate with the waves, and craft a nature-as-art inspiration for our upcoming wanderings. As the sun lowers on this beautiful day, we’ll offer prayers around a ritual fire, then co-create a ceremonial song and immerse in the harmonic frequency of our own graceful power.
